i actually saw tiny lady apples at the produce market yesterday and commented on how awesome they would be for making caramel apples! 2 bites worth per apple and you could have several without feeling guilty!
I know the ones you mean! I actually bought some a couple of years ago with the intention of dipping them in colored white chocolate so they looked like little pumpkins. Never got around to it, unfortunately, but I love the thought of using teeny apples for caramel apples! I have some MacIntosh at home, which are small for apples, but still a bit too big to eat several in caramel form without feeling guilty. :)
Also, I made some roasted, salted pepitas when I made that pumpkin soup the other week... looking at the pepitas on that apple makes me think they would help make a delicious salted caramel apple!
Ooo! We should make those caramel apples when we hang out!
